Still going to stan for biking being the better option over the bus. I can’t stand public transit for no other reason that I get frustrated by delays, and I know I have absolutely no control over those delays on transit.
Watching this GIF for 10 hours straight today because goddammit I need this.
Going to make two exceptions for the first name lameness:
1. “Ryan” for Scooter Gennett, which is a great anti-joke
2. “Mallex” for Mallex Smith, because if you have a first name that unique, you might as well flaunt it.
Also, let’s take a moment to appreciate Felipe Rivero:
Also, noticed I called it a blifter, when I meant brifter. The spelling of it still confuses me :P
Yep, catch-all term for shifters integrated into dropbar brakes, since all companies call theirs different names.
Oh sweet Jesus yes! Getting past the fact that I still can’t get used to SRAM’s blifters, there is so much want there.
Mike Green is a good trade asset for next year, as he’s on the final year of his contract. His defensive stats are actually good—at least for a team with a black hole of a defense that the Red Wings have—and he produced a lot better in his second year. Ouellet was sheltered from playing against harder competition, and…
But I didn’t expect that team to be the Detroit Red Wings.
True, the majority of the segment includes rigid carbon forks.
Pretty much! Just with a focus on a more aggressive geometry and drop bars.
This is true, but I’m of the state of mind that unless the suspension fork is of decent quality, you’re just as well not having one. Not saying that isn’t possible on hybrids, though! I’ve seen some good hybrids with good, adjustable suspension forks that you don’t have to pay an arm and a leg for.
Gonna stan for the hybrid for a second. Sure, they are a master-of-none frameset. But if you’re going to stick with one bike, they’re good for most riders in most conditions. If you decide to forego suspension completely, they are usually priced quite well. And I’ve come to like having hydraulic disc brakes too.
Milbury probably wants to slap Subban with a shoe.
Not just stick handling, but his stick skills in general. Nobody could pick pockets like he could, and it was beautiful. My favourite goal of his was him stealing the puck from Kevin Klein’s stick, finding himself alone in front of Rinne, and with a quick deke, goal.
From what I’ve read, the biggest reason was size; when he was drafted, Datsyuk stood at 5'8" and 140 lbs during scouting. He gained a good 40 lbs before he came to the NHL, and his board play and strength on the puck were pretty much top notch once he bulked up.
One wonders what would have been if he was able to suit up completely healthy for Colombia in the 2014 World Cup.
It’s actually a bit easier than that. Portuguese and Spanish are both mutually intelligible languages, as they share a lot of vocabulary and verb structure (albeit different pronouns). It doesn’t take long for native speakers of one to learn the other if they put in a bit of effort.
Only way to redeem this game: Khalil Mack and J.J. Watt in at QB for their respective teams.
