Wow, as a kid, I got that one really wrong. I thought it was a terminal illness and they were putting him down or something of a similar nature.
All through my childhood, I remember an episode where one of the trains got stuck in a tunnel, and instead of trying to dig him out, they just made a wall over him where the tunnel ended, and where his face was protruding out. Did I make this up, or did this creeptacular scene actually happen?

That's true. It is definitely a combination of the two, but otherwise, I have to say that the hood is undeniably that of a Jag. But that being said, there's hardly a better combination for a luxury full size car.
