I want a flashback to the Bollywood musical number, seeing how it played out with Behrad in place of Zari.

Maybe not that different. The inciting incident was likely still Mallus trying to collect the totems.
Like, they’ve traveled to the afterlife before on this show; theoretically, Sara’s soul is chilling there somewhere.
With Gary, the line between greatly respecting someone and wanting to get with that person seems to be blurry-to-nonexistent.
Technically, Behrad’s been around nearly as long as Nate, we just haven’t seen the alternate version of Season 3 where he joined the team.
It’s Covid-protocol friendly, I’ll give it that!
“Resurrection” via cloning gets extra complicated when you live in a universe where souls are proven to be real and tangible; Astra keeps a bunch in her purse, for crying out loud. So asking whether this Sara counts as the same person as the Sara who died ... a lot depends on if they can take a trip to Purgatory or…
You’re assuming anyone at Warner Bros. cares about the comic book portion of their empire.
Re: Legends being dark:
Technically, the original Ava, Nate, Mick, and all the other non-Sara Legends from Earth-1? They all died during Crisis on Infinite Earths and got replaced by doppelgangers when the Paragons created Earth-Prime.

Impression I get is that it’s a bit like being an athlete. Most people are capable of running, but you can’t become a champion sprinter without lots of exercise. John still has his magical knowledge, but his magical physique has been set back to couch potato levels, hence his mention of needing to start his occult…
I do wonder how giving Ava fake memories worked. Like, no way Rip sat down and scripted out decades’ worth of memories to inscribe into Ava’s head. Is this a Dollhouse sort of thing, where memories are downloaded from a bunch of real people then mixed-and-matched into a new tapestry of memories?
I don’t think Season 1 suffered from a lack of focus on character; there was plenty of that. But it did suffer from its general approach to its characters
There are times when we need to step back and appreciate the fact half of this episode is about a mad scientist and his army of clones turning people into monsters on an alien planet, and the other half’s about a 19th Century sorcerer changing reality into a cartoon and being defeated through song.
I think they were implying that the coaching here may have gone beyond the limits of perjury (though it’s difficult to say, since we don’t get to witness the events ourselves).
Presumably, he only needs to be there for football practice, which happens after school.
