See, while I agree with all the criticisms of this storyline, I don’t think it’s the worst The Flash has ever been, purely because it’s not boring, as the show has sunk into being in the past. It may be incredibly, INCREDIBLY stupid now, but I’ll take that over dull.

When they exorcised the Reverse Flash from Nash Wells, she brought holy water and a wooden stake, just in case it turned into a vampire situation, too. How can anyone not love her after that?

Mom!

We need to kill Vandal Savage in three different time periods at the same time ...

They seem to stay in touch via phone calls, email, and the like while off adventuring, so I could see there being problems (or at least confusion) if they return a few seconds after they left, if it means arriving BEFORE all the text messages and stuff they already did occurred.

Ulysses S. Grant

Yeah, I was thinking all the stuff at the White House felt like a very Season 2 story.

They’ve got those little portal clicker thingies, which somehow take you exactly where/when you want to go, even though we never see anyone enter any sort of coordinates into them.

Though, even if it wasn’t so expensive, they’d probably avoid having him use his powers too often simply because it’d drain tension. In maybe 90% of episodes, if Nate confronted the bad guy of the week head on, they’d have no ability to actually hurt him in his steeled up form.

I think the big difference is that Legends acknowledges its characters are idiots and frequently mocks them for that fact, but builds up sympathy for them because they are TRYING to do better, and most of the stupid stuff they do is played for laughs.

It’s not that a hero with severe and consistent flaws can’t be enjoyable; Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow have often been at their best when leaning into their leads’ tendency to make horrible decisions.

In the season premiere, Sara mentioned that they were opening a wormhole to “Earth’s Temporal Zone”, so that’s where all the aliens blasted out of the ship fell.

Andrea is Quark.

Can any violent death in a Jurassic Park movie really be inexplicable?

Yeah, the new Forces inhabiting people makes things so muddled here. Like, if the Strength Force was somehow extracted from Alexa, would it still be a self-aware being with its own wants and needs, or is it just a power source making Alexa a metahuman, no different from dark matter?

From having briefly had Barry’s powers, Iris had a tiny spark of Speed Force in her. They used that tiny spark, together with Barry’s connection to the Speed Force, to recreate it. So while there may not have been an intrinsic link between them before, there is now (though, given the Speed Force is supposed to exist

The Speed Force finding another speedster to help her is interesting.

From some cursory research, whether burgers are halal depends on the details of how they’re prepared, the big thing being whether they’re mixing with the fats/oils of other foods (a big no-no is cooking burgers on the same griddle as bacon). Long as Behrad’s handling the grilling, he should be good.

The effects seem to be temporary, so having it for dinner once probably isn’t an issue. The question is how his wife kept him from getting high on his own supply.

Since the Earths got merged, I wonder if Spooner frequents Children of Liberty websites.
