The answer is usually “no, you've understood it correctly. It's really that dumb."

This truly is their Final Fantasy...

Looking at resources as distinct from reserves, there’s a fair bit in the US (7.9 Mt vs 9.6 Mt in Chile), and Argentina outstrips the lot (19.6 Mt), so they might be a big factor (the biggest investors there are American, Australian and Japanese companies).

That’s a reasonable point, though that doesn’t preclude other investors from exploiting the resources that aren’t under partial Chinese control.

China still sits pretty low on the lists of producers. They refine a lot of ores, but the resources are mined in other places.

China produces a lot of the refined chemicals that are used in battery production, but they don’t have the biggest reserves.

Who do you think comes up with all those weird sex machines?

Nuclear power makes the most sense, true.

Ah, no worries. The old one would be a useful guide in this instance.

Have you sat in a 370Z? My understanding is that the interior is the same, dimensionally (albeit with some minor restyling and slightly different seats).

The sightlines will probably be similar, given they share a greenhouse...

You mean in the trunk? It's a two-seater.

You will still get feedback (both visual and vestibular), and your brain generally pretty good at integrating that feedback. You’re not steering on the basis of how much you turn the wheel, you’re steering on the basis of that feedback system.

No worries - I’m not suggesting that you shouldn’t have compared the three of them. I’m simply saying that a comparison of weight per footprint will advantage the Z, because the others have a lot more packed into that footprint.

That’s fine, and on a performance/dollar scale it's a fair comparison. Density is a different issue though. The extra things that those two cars have (i.e. two more doors, two more seats, another diff, two more driveshafts) are really heavy (having removed and replaced OEM doors and seats, they weigh a ton). You would

Huh? The AW11 and SW20 were both available with t-tops, and the MA70 was available with a targa top too...

The dark blue looks great too.

The Mustang is a reasonable point of comparison. The two AWD, 5-door hatchbacks, less so.
