I mean, there are worse ideas...
Yes.
Honey is also verboten. Free the bees!!!
Golden Oldies.
“After you, sir.”
I kinda wish that Verstappen hadn’t tapped his brakes and had just kept coasting to a stop, with Hamilton tucked in behind him. It would have highlighted the absurdity of the situation, and hopefully hastened the removal of stupid DRS.
I suspect it has. And it is interesting from the perspective of seeing how the teams operate. But it’s also pretty unedifying.
Not really his call to hand down. He was essentially brokering an agreement between the two teams. It was either that or leave it to the stewards, but he couldn’t unilaterally decide on the outcome.
In that case it seems to me like he’s more like a patient but slightly exasperated parent letting the team principals have their little tantrums then explaining to them that they can’t have the rules changed.
He doesn’t adjudicate penalties though does he? The stewards are independent of the race director.
He had the faster car and is similarly-skilled, so logically that’s quite reasonable.
That’s the reason, but it’s not legal. If he was allowed to do that, there would be no reason for the second car in a one-two not to essentially stop on track. It would mean that the rest of the field would have to stop (no overtaking under a yellow/safety cars), and the front-running car could take a free pitstop and…
I’m kinda surprised they don't just punt the car out of the way with the fire engine.
Not intentionally...
I don’t know that!
No, that's a bunch of coconuts.
It does pose the question - is the truck in fact shaped like a whistle, rather than this whistle being shaped like the truck?
The current Vantage is likely the most clean-sheet, least chrome-accented car they’ve ever made.
