An easy trick for those that are unsure: replace “it” with a gendered equivalent (“he” or “she”) - if the sentence works with “his/hers”, use “its”; and if it works with “he’s/she’s”, use “it’s”.

Exactly - they want to do some failure analysis here, and the best way of doing that is to have a very good look at the nut in-situ. They’ll just remove the hub when it gets back to the factory and whack another one on for Baku.
