I never had a problem with Mystery Science Theatre 3000. Some of it was funny. Sometimes I will sit back and watch a movie or a TV show and make fun of it when they say something ridiculous. Sometimes the lines in the show or movie are so ridiculous you can't help but do it.

That's fine. I don't tell people not to watch a show. I put my opinion out there and if there are facts (like ratings) and other things out there that I can use to make a point, I put them out there too.

I didn't know anybody who was in This Is US, and it did very well. How long should a network keep a show on with ratings that were never acceptable for decades?

Yes, One of us has standards. Why don't you go back 5 years and see how many show were renewed with the awful ratings that SYFY is renewing shows with? How about NONE? Nobody renewed shows with ratings under a 0.20, NOBODY. I'm sure the greedy, arrogant, ignorant Studio executives aren't reading most of our comments,

Excellent! Call them NOW! There is no doubt that Netflix taking over this show would be a great idea. I wrote why in the other E-mail you sent me. I'm sure that Netflix will make all the episodes available at one time. That is good for the fans. Since the show would only be available on Netflix, Nielsen ratings are

I don't even know what Yahoo Screen is. I think most fans of shows on SYFY would love to see Netflix pick them up and run them as their own. Netflix will probably increase the budget, get bigger name actors and actresses into the show, and people wouldn't have to worry about the ratings, because NETFLIX doesn't give

There is no doubt that having big name people like Josh Holloway, and Sarah Wayne Callies and other in Colony is a big help. Josh Holloway is very popular from many different things and Sarah was well liked in The Walking Dead and other shows. Colony also has Peter Jacobsen9who has been in many things, Ally Walker and

12 Monkeys was not able to keep my interest. I buy it on DVD for $10 plus tax or less(when I find it) and I'll try again one day. SYFY isn't even showing 12 Monkeys in a normal format for season three. Instead of showing an episode a week, they are going to show all the episodes in a weekend. I think it will be 4

I'm not changing anything. Cable shows don't have to do a 1.34(like Limitless did to survive, but if they do below a 0.20, I will hammer them because THAT is my bottom line. I guess you better get used to seeing my name. I expect every show renewed by SYFY with ratings under a 0.20 to do worse, and I'll have plenty to

I know that Colony hasn't been cancelled, but it took MONTHS for them to renew it last season. Same with Into The Badlands. I'm also upset that SYFY renewed 6 shows last season with ratings under a 0.20(when 0.00 is the very bottom) and where were your cheesy loser comments then? You think Into The Badlands and has

The show is a ratings failure, or didn't you notice? The show that other fans have described as the Cornerstone of the SYFY rebuilding process will do WORSE than last season, and will probably do worse NEXT season, because I haven't seen a show on SYFY grow higher ratings from season one to season 2 in years. How

I'm using the facts that are available to me. Since you say the show is airing in every country, should we have a world Nielsen ratings, because I would guess that maybe 10 million people IN THE WORLD are watching. maybe 15? maybe even 20(which I think is preposterous)IN THE WORLD? How many people are in the WORLD?

Blame that on them. They changed the name Not me. As far as you preferring the Expanse over Colony and My preferring it the other way, there is an old saying: Different strokes for different folks.

I wouldn't be as nuts about the ratings except for the precedent SYFY and NBC universal have set, and I want to see NBC Universal do justice to all its shows, not just the ones with pathetic ratings. It took NBC Universal 2-3 months to renew Colony last season, while they renew shows with horrendous ratings on SYFY

The show is supposedly doing well in places other than the USA. It had a good enough season one to do a season 2 in the USA, but the ranking have dropped a lot on SYFY since its renewal. There will be a season three on SYFY, but what happens when the rankings drop again? Will Netflix work things out so that there will

Yes, Colony isn't a SYFY show but NBC UNIVERSAL owns both USA and SYFY. Yes, the ratings on Colony are lower than season one, but the ratings for one and two are HIGHER than the Expanse Season One ratings(and you already know that season 2 Expanse ratings are even worse) Since Colony season two live average ratings

That is a very good point.

It is starting to go that way, and it is unfortunate. That is why CBS renews show with sub 1.0 ratings. If they are near syndication, CBS wants them to get there so they can find a sucker who will hopefully buy them. Going that route also means that people who would normally be fired for failing shows also get to keep

Not for me, but a lot of people are happy it received 2 more seasons of episodes. The ratings haven't shown it. Maybe it is best to get the opinion also from someone who really likes it.

Obtuse? Or Factually Correct? Is that the problem with SYFY fans, you don't like the real world with real facts and the truth? Remember also, this is an OPINION BOARD You have your opinion and I have mine. I just like to throw in facts if I have them.
