I'm sure podcasts are taking up some of that slack. I usually wait until things are on sale or cheap before I buy them. I used to buy lots of DVD's on EBAY, but I won't get paypal, so people have to be willing to accept a US POSTAL MONEY ORDER. I just bought Z Nation Season 2 for $8.99 plus tax and I'll buy season 3

Our greatest day is when USA renews this not only for a 3rd season, but a fourth at the same time, just like SYFY renewed 12 Monkeys for a fourth season even though the 3rd season isn't out yet.

The show has gotten better and you should watch it. I don't think I've missed an episode live in the 2 seasons. I am giving you my opinion.

Less than stellar? The live average ratings for the show are over a 0.25. While that may seem low to you, consider the ratings that SYFY has been renewing shows with(UNDER a 0.20, with 2 shows renewed with a 0.12 and a 0.13. Let's throw in that TNT renewed Good Behavior with a 0.19 in its first season, and AMC just

I love the show, and I will be sad when the season is over. I'd love to know what NBC Universal is thinking; renewing The Expanse, whose ratings are worse than Colony. Season 2 ratings of Colony will be better than season one ratings of Expanse. Season 2 ratings of Expanse are even worse. Don't make us wait 3 months

You're right. It is a blessing and a curse. Since the only ratings that are available are Live, +3 and +7, that is all we have to go on. When other ratings become available, I am sure people will be happy to factor them in. The fact that Netflix doesn't give us there ratings means that it is difficult to gauge the

I read up on You're the Worst. It is definitely something different. I also checked the ratings. It has gone from a live average of a 0.29 to a 0.13 to a 0.10 Will it be back if season 4 goes below that? We'll see. The good news is that I really don't follow how shows do on FX and FXX, but I follow SYFY because it

Thank you for the info. I'm sure there will be at least 4 seasons of The Expanse. It will absolutely have better numbers in its second season than 12 Monkeys did, and they just renewed 12 Monkey for a fourth season. If the ratings for The Expanse stay above a 0.12 for the 3rd season, I could see there being a fifth

It is your opinion that this is the best show in a decade. The ratings don't say it. Let's see how long the show continues. It's been renewed fir season three. Let's see if Amazon or Netflix picks it up and keeps it going when it isn't on SYFY anymore because of the ratings. if this is the best show in 10 years that

It's easy for you to say when shows you like with ratings this awful get renewed, while shows I like with much better ratings get cancelled. I'm still waiting to see one of the shows I like with ratings this horrible gets renewed. I can guarantee you that if Colony or Into The Badlands get ratings like this, they will

This isn't critically acclaimed by anyone I know or read. I don't know what the ratings for The Americans are. I will be fair and look them up later. I never heard of the other show. If it is a reality show, then I can't help it if they find suckers to watch crap like that. I don't watch any of these TV reality shows.

I think there is nobody at NBC Universal who wants to keep firing these bozos they bring in to run SYFY, because none of them are bringing in shows that have ratings that get better from year to year. They all get worse. I think the people who run SYFY decided to see what would happen if they renewed shows with

That would be great for the fans. I have no problem with that.

There are no records for streaming. The amount of money SYFY is spending on The Expanse is unknown unless I can get the numbers. I've stated that they are spending a lot of money on this show, but a bunch of fans have told me they aren't. Z Nation is the only show SYFY has now getting a 4th season based on its merits.

If you can get me the +7 numbers for this show(or the +3) I would love to see them. There are no records kept(or available) to the public for any of the other things you mentioned. How well the show is doing is debatable. It is the first show this season with ratings under a 0.20 that SYFY has renewed. They cancelled

The show isn't made for binge watching, or they would show it that way like they are going to do with 12 Monkeys season 3 because they don't want people to see the ratings go below a 0.10 Amazon doesn't give out its numbers(so nobody knows what they are) and I can't get the +3 and +7 numbers for this show. If you do,

Hi: There isn't any way to get ratings for streaming. Nobody gives them. You can get ratings for watching it live and DVR(which is +3 and +7) but I never see them for this show. I'm sorry you can't watch it live because of work. When I was younger, watching it live(and being part of Nielsen) was the only way viewing

You really don't think that The Magicians or even Z Nation is more the centerpiece of the revival? Z nation is going on season 4 and the ratings used to be unreal for SYFY. The Magicians should definitely be back for season 3.

I have absolutely no problems if Netflix picks it up. Let's see it happen. How many shows with better ratings(and are probably better shows) has Netflix picked up from SYFY? Let me know.

Critically beloved show that nobody is watching? That the ratings(and audience) drop from year to year despite an increased budget? That there are no ratings available to track streaming(yes, really no way to track streaming) and merchandising tie ins(I've NEVER seen any toys for this show ANYWHERE). A halo effect for
