I noticed that a couple days ago. Kinja is just steadily getting worse.

There have been some attacks on humans, but rare. Amazing when you consider that they could easily eat us.

Somewhere in a box or file cabinet of old video, I have footage of two killer whales tossing a baby harbour seal between them, in Bamfield inlet, Vancouver Island. 

Orcas are very smart. They’ve been known to rush beaches to move seals to another area, where the rest of them are waiting to pounce on them. They will definitely attack great white sharks and pretty much anything else. All too often they will smack a seal right out the water into the air.

Yep.  This ruling has the potential to effectively remove any federal regulation not spelled out in detail in law.  This is about deregulating industry so they can maximize profits no matter how many people have to die to make it happen.
