I have just started using trader joes nourish shampoo. It's gentle on my color and not drying! My hair feels a little straw like in the shower, but after conditioning and drying it it is much silkier than other more expensive shampoos.

Ulta brand body wash. On sale a 24 oz bottle can be like $4.99 (holiday scents, after the holidays especially). Not on sale they’re $16 which is nuts and I never get them not on sale and with my coupon.
I’m a big fan of St Ives sea salt body scrub. I need to exfoliate daily but the harsher stuff rips up my skin. It’s a great daily scrub for not your face.
I’m a big fan of rice powder scrubs. They are a bit pricey but I have hormonal acne that flairs up when normal exfoliators are used but get extra gnarly when not properly exfoliated if that makes sense. My favorite is Sephora’s discontinued version but now I use Dermatolgica’s with great results
Dove bar soap for sensitive skin in the shower.
What do you use from Lush? I like Flying Fox shower gel and Sultana bar soap is super creamy.
Shea Moisture bars are amazing. They are huge. I cut mine into thirds.
I’m a long time fan of the Olay moisture ribbon line of body washes. Their scents don’t wow me (in fact I really wish they made a fragrance free one so I could add my own perfume oil!), but they have the best lather of any soap or body wash that I’ve ever tried. It’s so rich and creamy that it does a pretty good job…
Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash (or the generic drug store brand, it doesn’t matter) on a loofah for my bod because it helps with my keratosis pilaris. And then the Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar on my hands for my face, crotch, and ass because it leaves me feeling fresh and doesn’t fuck up whatever science…
Rodan and Fields is so expensive! I have friends who sell it and I wanted to buy one of their micro needle roller systems so I went to the website to browse around and could not believe the prices.
I’m not really in shea butter in particular but I love love Shea Moisture salt scrubs and their body butter, esp in the winter when I get really dry. They smell super good and the scrub will exfoliate all of your dead skin and arm bumps. You can find it at Target, Amazon and I think Ulta.
Yay I hope you like! I’m so obsessed that everyone in my fam got one in their stocking last year along with a “pleaaaaaaase try it” from me. Then in June I went and stole back from anyone that hadn’t opened theirs yet, because they clearly didn’t want or deserve joy in their lives. 😂
Er....I don’t actually know ‘cause a friend who owns a small shop (here in British Columbia) sells Kootenay soap! I imagine it’s pretty quick; they’ve been in business for years.
Future Primitive.
Nope, haven’t ever tried those. And the Alba stuff seems to keep my face in check pretty well. I’ve recently switched over to the Rodan + Fields “unblemish” thing because I have a friend who is super-into it and she gives me free shit. That seems to be working amazingly well, but it’s incredibly expensive.
Nubian Heritage’s body wash. I’ve been using their Olive Oil and Green Tea formula all summer. I also like their Patchouli and Buriti scent.
That in shower lotion stuff! I’ve been using Nivea and it’s glorious for shaving.
