That made me as infuriated as the disingenuous tweets yesterday from assholes like Pat McCrory yesterday about how they were praying for the victims.

Even more maddening was the preventer’s later attempt to belittle Jones’s walk off on twitter as if that would absolve her part in denying a gay man’s justified reaction to the idea that this assault wasn’t driven by homophobia.

“It’s about all of us.”

Omg I would have punched these people in the face. They are being deliberately obtuse. The man refuses to acknowledge that it was a hate crime, and the woman was saying that even if it was a hate crime, that’s not what was important. This is seriously rage-inducing.

Now playing

Owen Jones walked off of his TV segment yesterday when the the idiot across from him refused to acknowledge that this was an attack specifically against LGBT people. It was courageous:

scalpers are why Hamilton is so expensive to see. If Ticketmaster actually did something to prevent bots from purchasing tickets en masse for resale, regular joes could afford to see the show.

it’s nice to see that Broadway seems to be much more accepting of people of all size, age, and race.

Best acceptance speech of the night by far was Daveed. He is effortlessly comfortable on stage whether in character or not. I hope to see him for many years to come.

Also, the acting awards that didn’t go to POC went to geezers, which warmed my old lady’s heart.

1. US Citizen.

Here is what I know, Qatar is an ally of america. We provide them weapons, we have military bases there, we support them. AMERICA ENABLES THIS BULLSHIT. Just like with Saudi Arabia.

Wait! Has the US heard about this? YOU CAN JAIL RAPE VICTIMS? How is the US not all over this!?

Savannah Guthrie is a Georgetown-educated attorney, so let’s not dismiss the woman just because she’s also conventionally attractive.

I watched the performance this morning, and it was so poignant without the prop muskets. It hit me even harder...

I hate Savanah and Today. I watched this live and there were so many inappropriate, and wrong statements that he made. Rather than calling him out on it, and holding his feet to the fire, as say Murrow would have, they give him a platform to spew his crap from. And then when he spins away and evades their questions

I hate him.

One of my coworkers used this exact argument to me moments ago: there are already a ton of guns so what would be the use banning them.

Jesus Christ I can't do this anymore. He is far too close to the White House for me.

I’m sorry. ~hug~
