Oh, no! Is it okay to ask why? I’ll sure miss you and your furbaby bunches!

I take this multivitamin, and it’s helped a lot with my energy levels, and I don’t get nearly as sick nearly as often anymore. Do you take fish oil? I take two servings of ProDHA daily and it helped as much as my antidepressant. Maybe it’s the placebo effect, but hey. I’m not gonna to question it.
First thing: Are you okay? Are you safe- physically, mentally, and emotionally?
Cozy, sweater weather. Pumpkins. Leaves changing. Pumpkin bread. Wearing cute, layered outfits without feeling like you’re dying from heat stroke. And we’re one month closer to Halloweeeeeeen!
Mine is kind of weird. I got fired this week- which isn’t something to brag about- but I didn’t cry about it!
I’m drinking pink hot chocolate out of a coffee mug that I could literally wear as a hat. It’s more of a bowl than a mug.
In honour of this shit show of a week: Let’s share some good stuff. What are the little luxuries you indulge in when you’re having a really bad day/week/month/year?
The fact that people see warning signs, hear locals telling them to be careful, and read about the dangers of doing what they’re doing seems ridiculous to me. I’ve never been in a natural area that’s considered dangerous, but I can’t imagine not doing research and listening to locals. Damn.
I didn’t know Yellowstone was that wild. Probably stupid, I know, but the only time I’ve ever heard about national parks, people talk about them like they’re cool places with lame rules. Clearly not the case. Good on you for taking your kids and being safe about it!
I didn’t say they weren’t doing a great job. I had no ulterior motives.
Oh my god, no. You were very much the sane person in those situations. That father is just fucked in the head.
I truly don’t think that can be done at this point in time. Especially when most people don’t find nature to be enjoyable unless they’re able to insert themselves into it somehow. Humans are very entitled creatures. We forget that the world isn’t just for our consumption.
It’s okay. I don’t think I posed my question very well. My ADHD brain hopped from one topic to the next and I didn’t read over my comment before I posted.
Oh my god, I don’t know why people do that. I can’t stand stuff like that, especially when people put on GoPros and roof hop. nopenopenope
Thank you. <3
Absolutely. I know I’m going to sound like an old, but I think smart phones and social media have a lot to do with it. People are always trying to get the best pictures for Instagram/Facebook or paying attention to their screens instead of watching their step. And humans have gotten a little too big for their…
I’m sure that’s the case. How long did you volunteer at your park? Were you there for an extended period of time that allowed you to see changes in nature or people?
Oh my god, I wasn’t blaming rangers. I don’t know enough about park safety to even side-eye them. I was asking because I didn’t know, and when I don’t know something, I ask before coming to any conclusions.
Sorry if this is rude, but can I ask you what it’s like to volunteer at a park?
I wasn’t being judgemental. I know this young woman made an ignorant mistake. I’m not calling for government regulations on all parks, as I have never been to one so I have no room to backseat park manage. Which is why I asked. So I could know more. Because I was curious. Jesus.
