I suspect you are wrong. Why waste time filling up with gas when its easier and cheaper to just plug in every night. Most people I know with plug in hybrids only add gas when traveling.

I am a very stocky 6' tall and 275lbs, and I have no trouble daily driving my Mitsubishi Minicab. Its ridiculous fun, like driving a Miata on bad tires while standing up. City parking is super easy, but I try to avoid highways with it. Any speed above 55ish has it so wound up it makes me feel like I’m being abusive.

I never use cruise control. It annoys the crap out of me - I want to actively drive, not be a passenger in the drivers seat.
