Thats a 4 door pickup lol. If you are worried about breakover, you get the 2 wrangler with a 27.8 degree breakover.

I look out at my 1997 XJR6 with a knowing smile.

An XJS Lynx Eventer.

I have now owned a couple of the earlier XJR jaguars, and they have been nicer to drive, more reliable and easier to work on than any of the many German cars I have previously owned. A clean x350 XJR is a great car and a bargain. If you use aftermarket parts, even the air springs are not overly expensive or difficult

I thought the tail was by far the best part - simple & clean with a slight retro touch. The rest just looks like a derivative of every 911 special from the last 20 years.

This is a fairly common way to make a V6 in the car industry. Mercedes, GM, and others have done this in the past.

A salvage title used to be a deal breaker for me... but not so much today. Modern cars have so many electronic parts in vulnerable places, that a minor bumper bender can total a late model car. I’m more careful when I check out a salvage title car, and make sure things like the carfax match the repairs & backstory.

This is a car for confident automotive connoisseurs who don’t need to impressthe unwashed masses”.

This is a rare, special, and magnificent piece of machinery by one of the premier auto makers in history. A high powered, high priced, beautifully made automotive fashion statement that was the envy of lesser automobiles. In comparison, a similar year Mercedes or Rolls Royce was a car for the bourgeois.

There are already EV semis - The Kenworth T608e, Freightliner eCascadia, and Volvo VNR among others. Tesla is late to the game and trying to sell an unproven vehicle in a market they don’t seem to understand. Even if the their electric driveline is stellar they will have teething issues with a new cab and chassis.

I have a 1999 9-3 convertible with 178,000 mile on it that is still shockingly comfortable and nice to drive.

Tesla is massively overvalued and has been for many years. Musk is a great huckster and sold the idea of Tesla as more than a car company, but in the end the valuation will fall to earth.

With every new generation, I feel like German performance cars become more and more like the 90s GM performance cars enthusiasts used to ridicule. Huge power, stiff tires, rock hard suspension, fantastic numbers on paper - but no finesse or sophistication on the road.

I was thinking Starlet as well. I always thought a performance build on one of those would be a hoot!

Am I the only one that just isn’t that impressed with Icon builds? Almost always just an Art Morrison chassis with an LS. Just like thousands of other shops in the country. I feel like his earlier builds at least had special detail touches, like a Singer 911. Now they just feel like any well done hot rod from any of a

1971 Jaguar S1 XJ6. Mine was royal blue with a Chevy small block conversion. It was not just the most beautiful car I have ever owned, it was one of the most beautiful objects I have ever spent time around. Out of 50ish cars I have owned, it is the one car I truly regret selling. It was very similar to the one I’m

A great engine, but I prefer the later AJ16 six. Durable, smooth and easy to work on. A great underrated engine - particularly in surcharged form .

Great underrated cars! I would go for the M35 though... a little slower but better handling, easier to find, and cheaper/easier to work on.

I have a 1997 XJ6 & a 1997 XJR. They have both been more reliable than the German sedans I drove before and are surprisingly cheap & easy to work on with the help of internet forums.

Just awful the way they tried to stop Trump from openly committing treason, ignoring the constitution, and undermining the rule of law. Thankfully the GOP and his bootlick supporters allowed him to place his children and flunkies in positions of power so they could successfully commit fraud and undermine American
