I have a 500L. With a manual transmission its a great car! Fiat really screwed it by calling it a “500" so people confused it with its much smaller sibling... then giving both a truly awful and unreliable auto transmission.

I have both a minivan and Suburban. Working on the Suburban is not as easy as you might expect..... mainly because of the insane fender height. Just checking the oil requires a step ladder!

Consider yourself lucky. I had student loans in the 80's with 7% interest rates, and car loans were often 12% or more. A lot does depend on where you get the loan however. Car loan rates at my credit union are very low, but they won’t loan on a car more than 10 years old.
