I would love it if someone were to adapt all the original novels in a period-correct manner, set in the '50s and '60s. 

And seats 5 people comfortably. If youre willing to accept the inconvenience of two doors, the Challenger can even work as a family car, given the interior and trunk space. Plus, it legitimately does just over 30mpg highway with the V6, which is pretty impressive. 

Its also the absolute cheapest 7 passenger vehicle you can buy. For a family on a budget, it does the job. 

Im not so sure about the build quality lag with the Mustang, as FCA doesn't seem to be having as much trouble getting their paint to stay attached to the car.  

Thats how it works in Europe and Japan, typically because dealers have less real estate for storage. Customers are also more comfortable ordering a car and waiting for delivery.

That, and GM has to cut something - it was between Oldsmobile and Saturn, and Saturn had almost all stand-alone franchises, while Oldsmobile showrooms were nearly all shared with at least one other GM brand, so they were cheaper to buy out.

So was the Flying Spur, didn’t stop Bentley from claiming that name. And they did technically build one Bentley Camargue, so that does give them some justification. 

What I want to know is, could this be the basis for a new Bentley Camargue? The world could use that.

But the Lexus brand was conceived by an American marketing team specifically for sale in English-speaking markets. It wasn't even sold in Japan until like 10 years ago.
