I don’t think it’s a good idea to get in your car and start driving before you go in and pay for your gas. They'll probably assume you're trying to take off without paying.

I, too, am curious about this. Was it considered a safety violation, or did NASCAR believe it was an attempt to somehow gain an unfair advantage?
