This is prima facie evidence that the rich are not taxed anywhere NEAR enough.

That the opinions of enthusiasts do not matter even a little.

The mindset that insists on things like this is beyond seeking ostentatious displays of wealth. It’s obscene, vulgar even. There’s a part of me that’s genuinely sad, that so much wealth can be hoarded by a single human.

Yes, which is why technicians can justify the pay they get.  You aren’t paying a tech just for the hours worked, you are paying them for the knowledge and experience to do it right and in a timely manner.

People have so much fuck you money these days, it blows my mind. I watched a show on Netflix last night that featured rare collectibles. I remember 15-20 years ago after the market for sports collectibles found out and cards and jerseys were barely worth the cost of their materials and now people are paying 6-figures

I’ve noticed folks sitting 1+ car length back from the line or the car in front of them generally have their face stuck in a phone, and use that space so they can creep ahead without paying attention.

Call me crazy, but a single person should not have enough money to purchase that many Veyrons

Don’t take advice on driving manual from people who drove manual over 40 years ago.

I’ve had people complete a left turn in the on-coming left-turning lane... regularly.

I’m endlessly angry at other drivers for stopping behind the sensor loop. It happens all the time. I have no idea what they think they’re accomplishing by stopping an entire car length back from the line.

It’s insane, they turn so early they need to basically make two turns of the steering wheel instead of one smooth movement. The angle they go at also means they aren’t turning into the proper lane and end up in the right lane instead of left

The amount of people I see cross a double yellow line to make a left hand turn. You risk a collision making a right hand turn if someone is making a left that’s how early they turn.

It’s a phenomenon I’ve noticed, people sitting at least one car length back from the limit line. Is it some old wives tail about you’re more likely to die if you go up to the line?

I used to drive mid-engined cars (Fieros and MR2) and even a rear engined car (Corvair). I found that inductive loops work best when you position your engine over them, which means I had to stick my nose WAY out into traffic sometimes.

For a daily driver, you couldn’t even give me a manual car. It would immediately be taken to the dealer and traded for a “shlushbox”. I haven’t ridden in a auto Mustang for a long time, but I would imagine the trans in it is like the one in my Challenger, anything but a “shlushbox”. Last time I drove a stick for any

I’m happily looking for a V8 Mustang... and it will be an automatic because I’d rather drive it that way. Sometimes, people want a car for it’s V8-ness and not for a transmission that nobody wants anymore.

At least it’s not the gubment, right?

Oh Gawd, now the siren’s broken. Awooga, Awooga...

We all had a Mr. Krevis. Did he ever hand you guys one of those tests with quadrants and you found out you were a libertarian?
