I know it was a rhetorical question but besides the obvious answer (mauvaise télévision) we tend to call bad movies or tv shows “navets" which literally means “turnips” because it’s a bland vegetable.

“fired for drinking” when working in the theater/entertainment business lol
yes! they’re coming back!
And thus launching them in the middle of a fucking US workday seemed a good idea? Practically no US audience will be able to watch. Seems like I probably won’t be watching it until March.
By far my favorite part of the whole episode is when the killers know they’re screwed, so they go out and use that emotion to fuel the best performance of their lives
That’s too bad about the documentary. I remember reading about the plans to build Science Fiction Land and film Lord of Light simultaneously back in the ‘80s. I don’t think the Argo story had become public knowledge yet.
I’d love to see a Lord of Light movie with the designs Jack Kirby did for the abandoned 1970s adaptation, which ended up being used by the CIA as part of their cover op to get the embassy workers out of Iran (as seen in Argo, though I was pissed neither Zelazny nor Kirby got mentioned).
The Chronicles of Amber was one of the first series I got through the old “Science Fiction Book Club”, and still have that imprint on my shelf. Hope this finds some traction.
I am desperately in love with Kristen Scott Thomas and I hate Diana Taverner, which makes me love Kristen Scott Thomas even more for being such a great actor.
“Tell me about your sexual organs.”
So which one is the Judean Peoples Front and which one is the Peoples Front of Judea?
Breathtaking
As any English person knows, he’s only Scottish when he loses. When he wins, he’s British.
Writers just don’t like Shantel. They killed her off in The Boys and now this.
So I have a question. According to the show Joel Kinnaman’s character, Ed Baldwin, was born in 1932. Which means during season 4, which takes place in 1994/1995, Ed Baldwin is in his early 60's?
I still get sad for Martha...
I wanted to punch this episode in the face. I can’t figure who was more insulted by it, the viewers or the characters. The Mars rescue plot basically ripped off the Martian, the Ellen coming out story-line felt so cheesy and tacked on and then there was the whole plot to blow-up NASA, which bordered on the comical…
So Margo is Martha but with much nicer digs. Hopefully she can say hi (privyet?) to Mischa and Nadezhda for all of us.
