i know you cant please all of the people all of the time. but this episode...

...rocked.

i found myself wanting absolutely NO dialogue, but then it started creeping in and i warmed to it. who hasnt gone through a mental breakdown of “everything that has led to this moment” before? you jump around from incident to

I dug it.

I was definitely not expecting a B- grade for this one. I was mesmerized the entire episode. It was an easy A for me. I thought it was utterly brilliant.

The edit has turned to such a technical focus on the cooking, which is fine and all, but that’s why we have shows like Chef’s Table. This is still in the end a Bravo show. I would like a little drama

I was shocked by that ending. The editing had made it seem like Dan was the clear winner, it seemed like he had become the narrator of the season.

Overall, while Kristen was phenomenal as the new host, it was a rather ho hum season. I realized recently that it’s in part because they’ve stopped treating the cast as

Person of Interest is a real little seen gem that has a lot to say - it’s just a shame Caviezel went nutso.

“Erik Estrada... now that’s a name I have not heard in a long time”

“We dug ass jerky together.”

I’m going to continue getting confused when people refer to Coop in this show and don’t mean Kyle Maclachlan.

It’s a really good show and I think had more left in the tank. They are all probably getting pretty good offers to move onto other stuff though, and I hope it leads to more roles for the whole cast.

You mean the era where we recorded shows for free on vhs tapes cause we liked them?

Where’s the discussion of Jamie’s speech in the locker room and overall character development? His transition from showboat to team player is one of the highlights of the series. Watching him give the assist rather than trying to score the goal himself was one of the top moments of the episode.

I once again find myself in stark disagreement with the review-which is fine, but this is absolutely higher than a a C Plus for me. I thought the stories of the characters were fun, in some cases emotional, and well handled while clearly tying into a central theme.

No love for Will dressed as Beard? Him sitting at Beard’s desk reading Beard’s book was my favourite joke of the episode.

She took a back seat and watched everything unfolding around her. I thought it was a subtle portrayal of a successful investor that was checking up on how her investment is going.

Also I admire the producers of Mason for their verisimilitude but they got that lesbian bar wrong historically. (So does Ryan Murphy... always) But they did borrow from the early 50's. There was a bar owned by a fine singer, Beverly Shaw called Club Laurel that she would sing at. And it was upscale to a degree.

Aah that’s so true! Cliff’s responses were very pointedly dancing around his lies. Great catch!

Did not know the Giulietta Masina connection—remember my Italian aunt taking me to see foreign films when I was younger and how interesting, lively and expressive she was on screen—I can see her now in Lyonne performances.  Guest star names mentioned and you left out Nolte!? How often do we get to see him on a show?!

Absolutely loved this season and excited for the next.

And they walk right past you, rather than take a bite because...Américain, pffff!
