I went to the link and read Tori Lux's essay, and I can't wrap my head around other people watching and letting it happen. I'm sure the bar for what is considered sexual harassment is set much differently in porn, but that was outright assault. And people watched.

Well, I’ve never been terrific at PVP FPSs, but for example, I played the whole COD MW series (hated the people) and the controls were tight and just, perfect. To me, Destiny's weren't. Certainly good enough for PVE, but I was just garbage at PVP. Which may just mean I sucked, but it felt different. And that's before…

That was the thing- My clan and I worked SO HARD on HM to have every bit of gear, even down to the stat rolls. Then CE came out, and after the first playthrough it wasn’t fun any more. AND it outleveled the VoG stuff. That was a huge bummout. Then Xur hit us with upgraded exotics, and we had to do all that stuff again…

I think we'd both agree that we definitely got our money's worth out of it though. Another thing that REALLY bugged me was that it was supposed to be a "ten year game," but after one year they were talking about the sequel. THEN WHY AM I GRINDING HERE!?!?

I agree that the consumer determines the market. I just don't think this game is an example of the customer getting ripped off. I personally don't feel that way.

Well, that’s why I said apples to oranges. I played destiny like a madman all through year one (3 Gjally 2.0s, dude!) so I know. But my point is, it’s content was disappointing as well. The scope of this game will never be what Destiny was, but I think we should all enjoy it and see how the DLCs turn out.

Something that is really getting overlooked by a lot of people is that while the game currently takes place on four WORLDS, the maps vary a hell of a lot between game types. Have you noticed the coordination changes that come with being tall? Before I crossed the 6 foot line I skated and could do 360 flips down stairs. Then, in the space of a year, I was this giant dumbass.
