I think using pre-orders as a gauge for potential sales can come in handy in certain instances. Take Mirror's Edge 2 for example; a lot of people are going to have their decision to buy influenced by the involvement from Sarkeesian. So it might give an example of market testing.

I'm not familiar with Steam or Origin so I don't know if it relates, but I can't get past the loading screen for BF4 on my PS4, so I'm guessing the whole thing is dependent on Battlelog running? I don't get it, I don't even want to play multiplayer right now.

I can't get it to load up on PS4, and everything else works. But Battlefield is always a crapshoot for me so I don't know if it's related.
