You know better than that, this whole family of blogs are just that...blogs. They do no actual journalism, they ride the coat tails of real journalists.
Yeah... that’s not what Reddit is. It’s got its dark places, but it also has its shining places of hope. One of my favorites is wholesomememes.
They’re all too busy flicking each other’s bean over the outrage they’re manufacturing to do any real work. And I only say that instead of “circle jerking” because I’m pretty sure 90% of the Splinter writers are women.
At least from what I’ve seen, the FBI database on shootings is woefully inaccurate in part because police shootings are not reported to the FBI, because they are not required to, and then there is nothing to actually look at and see. Police man says “MOVE ALONG, No proof, because we wont provide the data”

As my European friends remind me constantly: we Americans have a fucked up racial history. It’s a consequence of slavery and de jure segregation existing for the bulk of the country’s life (racial segregation was only outlawed 64 years ago!)
Couldn’t it be as traumatizing for a child to have malformed genitalia? When he comes to the age that he starts comparing himself to others (dad and mom), he still won’t be old enough yet to make that decision. Also, I’m pretty sure that some have malformed genitalia that are very impractical for daily necessities…

Well, no. It’s “literally” not an office physically or any other way. Most office environments I’ve been in don’t constantly feature people going onstage and talking about their dicks.
No one is serving a life sentence. Bad things happen to good people. It’s not their fault, but at a certain point it does become their problem. It is one thing to have been victimized, it is another entirely to nullify your entire life by becoming the forever victim.
