LA bus drivers are the same. These fools straight up DGAF. I dunno how many times I’d have been creamed by a bus changing lanes if I didn’t operate in total paranoia mode around the damn things.

Exactly. Bus drivers, and pretty much any large vehicle driver, drive like assholes/manics. I experience every day thanks to the DC metro bus system. They blindly merge into lanes loaded with traffic and cut people off all the time. The bus driver probably did have plenty of time to see the google car and slow down.

If Casey Chan were any less talented he’d STILL be the greatest writer Gizmodo ever had.

I propose an experiment to demonstrate why a spare battery can indeed be easier:

... as long as the iBoob is delivering it - Im there.

You’re an IT guy...you don’t say.

The reason is the rich can’t decide who gets what cut.

They do! What they’re working on now is figuring out what movies are made of hard metal and which ones are soft and squishy, because they can take the soft and squishy ones and put them into much smaller boxes than the ones that are made out of hard metal. Yeah, I’ve never seen a pallet that color. The wooden ones almost always look like this in my experience. (Not that I’m the pallet king or anything. Hell, most days I can’t tell the difference between a pallet, a palette, and a palate.)

Martin Van Buren also slept with Aleister Crowley

Money talks, bullshit walks and I have walked plenty without regret, to another bar.

yeah let me over-tip on a over-priced drink. costs the bar 50cents and they charge me 9 bucks. but let me have to bribe the bartender to give me decent service on this over priced drink on top of that. I just choose not to play this game.

hence why so many bars have chalkboard (or hell, digital) displays. keg tabbed, board erased, boom. And yes, many bars I go to print out menus every day. Or at the very least a board saying “out of X”

Don’t be a fucking pedant. Everyone knows exactly what the article is referring to.

Ladies and gentlemen, my landlords.

and the point of him doing that was what exactly?

That's what I've always found to be funny/stupid about the war in Iraq.
