I have a 2-Door 2021 Bronco with the 7 speed manual (Black Diamond Trim actually!) and it is actually pretty easy to live with. It’s pretty composed on the road and actually really comfortable. For me, being single, the 2 door is as much practicality as I need. With the rear seats down, the trunk is actually pretty

I’d consider it at MSRP. But it’s out of the question with the Orange County hot car markup. Too many people with too much money means this thing will be $60K OTD easily here. You can get a lot of used 911 for $60K.

a BMW 330i isn’t much more,

The car will be wonderful as will the Corolla GR. The issue will be finding one. Then the very next issue will be finding one that doesn’t have a $15k markup within the first year. I’ve been unsuccessful with both as the 6 dealers in my immediate area (3 Honda and 3 Toyota) either have no idea if they will receive one

If the Integra type-S end up being like how the base integra sold against the Si.

Have been telling my wife this new Type R would be perfect for me now and perfect for our son 7 years later when he will begin to learn to drive. But in reality spending $40k for a compact sedan is already a hard sell, trying to find one without markups in the next 2 years makes it unfeasible.

You won’t, but someone else will. I just spent a couple minutes looking over K5 Blazer results on BaT...holy shit.

Hot take: nothing GM made in 1988 is worth $19,500.

I did my senior paper for my college degree in Economics on this subject in 1991. While I shouldn’t be surprised, but the conclusions here are the same as they were 30+ years ago. The grid now, as then, hasn’t been upgraded to handle the extra load, there wasn’t enough capacity then to generate the needed power and

According to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics and the National Transportation Safety Board, hybrid vehicles had the most fires per 100,000 sales at 3474.5. There were 1529.9 fires per 100k for gas vehicles and just 25.1 fires per 100k sales for electric vehicles.

He currently has a Tesla Model S Plaid as his daily driver. Jay has had electric cars as his daily drivers for at least the last ten years.

I’d be willing to bet every propulsion system and material ever used in automotive history is represented at least once in his garage. It must be quite a task to keep each vehicle in safe, workable condition on a daily basis.  Then, to know the nuances and safe maintenance practices for each has got to be even harder.

Considering his collection there is no telling.  He has so many vintage cars.

From the footage I saw, it absolutely was pilot error. But I don’t think that the answer is to ground them all. It looked to me like the P63 pilot flew into the B-17 because he simply couldn’t see it beneath him, and didn’t know to look harder. I would like to see them keep flying, but as someone else here suggested,

I watched it with science teachers who had met all the astronauts, but especially McAuliff, because the CompSci teacher in my high school was one of the 10 finalists. Entire science staff was down to watch it, but delays meant they all came back before the launch happened.

Watching that in 3rd grade homeroom and at the end of the day going home to an empty house for 2 hours to process it alone.

I think the main article should have had a comparison picture like this.  I was looking for it in the original text but nothing.

It’s probably worth noting what the area in the photo looks like when it’s not in monsoon/insane flood season:

The wrong use of damn is damning to dam grammar.

Normal people: “Hey, there’s a bridge with a train track on it going over the water, neat.”
