Trying to figure out how this is car related....
Worst part of owning a Wrangler is having to go in for service... And boy has it needed it. Rear defroster has failed SEVEN times in 5 years, lightbulbs around the interior gave up within the first two years. Leaking axle seal, twice.... That’s just the highlights... Earlier this year we took it in for a transmission…
Idk man... My C7 Grandsport was a track weapon... Still a great grand tourer but I kept up with all but one or two guys with a C7 Z06 on track... Their extra power meant nothing in the tight twisty sections.
“Hauling a bag of planting soil” describes how almost every GMC sold is used... I’ve seen maybe 3-4 newish GMC’s ever being used for actual truck stuff... I see brand new Ford Platinum’s and King Ranch’s doing truck stuff all the time...
Different chassis completely... Integra is based on the Civic architecture VS the TLX based on the Accord...
I was worried as I’m waiting on my Type-S to be produced... When I saw Bridgestone (and the date) I knew I was in the clear, since I spec’d the Performance wheel and tire. Can’t wait to get it and immediately tune it lol.
Not even close... Go look in person, big difference inside and out. Not to mention AWD vs FWD only.
So they are, one of two ways... EZPass is a RFID toll you can use... Or PA will straight up send you a bill at the end of the month for the tolls you used (I would never trust this, hence me having an EZPass)
I agree. NJ Turnpike and PA Turnpike, while expensive, cut almost an hour each way off my travels. Pretty nice.
I wonder if this is the replacement for the grand sport? Either way the wife wants another C7 GS when we leave the cesspool of New Jersey and their traffic and roads... Maybe, just maybe, I can talk her into this instead... Bet it would be an amazing road trip car for us.
I once bought an RC51 off the internet sight unseen... It came in wearing Chinese plastics and CBR forks (too short). Took me a few years but I finally sourced all the right stuff... Promptly sold it and regretted it... I feel your pain.
Picture didn’t load the first time.... This is a MAACO paint job, all of my bodywork and prep.
Definitely saving my 1994 Prelude from the scrap yard.
Who. Cares. Where’s the car news?
This is how my 35yr old wife shopped for bigger tires on the Wrangler... They had to look cool, no other criteria.
My uncles own and operate a Honda & Acura dealership and they are definitely having a hard time dealing with the CTR hype and markups. I’m waiting 6 months and I have THE inside line... Craziness.
Love and would love to see an after video of the Family Huckster on the lift... Like we broke EVERYTHING and now we’re fixing it. lol
Dealer I went through only marked up their first CTR, since it was VIN 002... All the others were at MSRP with a 5k non-refundable deposit. We’ll see what happens when mine comes in sometime in February... If they pull some shady stuff I’ll make sure to blast them on here.
I will most likely rock my 23' CTR for a year or two and trade up. If I didn’t already have one incoming I’d be getting this. I’ll probably be able to make a little money on my CTR too, might even post it on daddy Dougs site if I can secure an early Teg-S.... Either way, this engine and transmission is fantastic, no…
Gas Prices averaged $2.17 December of 2020.... $2.65 the year prior to that (last year before Covid, in case you forgot)... I’ll be happy when we can get back to those numbers, and better yet diesel back under $3.00 a gallon. Also when did the premium markup become $.40 instead of $.20?!
