First: Ford is completely right not to get involved. It wasn’t their employees that did this and it is on the dealer management to make it right.

I’m going to have to disagree with most of the people commenting here and say the guy is being very unreasonable and literally looking just to take advantage of the situation.

This is an instance where the fixed operations manager is actually making a lot of valid points. The employees involved were terminated and the cost of the visit was (or is to be refunded).

Or, you know, he could get out of his vehicle and beat the guy he just tried to kill with his car.

Beauty or good looks is an opinion and IMHO, the truck would have looked better and probably more functional non-stanced”.

“When police arrived on the scene, the gun-haver—who claimed to have a license to carry the weapon—was forced to the ground. This guy is not being charged with anything.”

Such a weird way to phrase it. He obviously had a carry license or he would have charged with something. I doubt he was forced to the ground, but

Pulling a gun on someone you witnessed committing whats called a “forcible felony” until the police arrive is perfectly legal and in fact, a major reason we have civilian handgun carrying in this country. No need to go all “So-called good Samaritan” on him.

Its funny when I read comments like this by people that clearly don’t understand diesels. You’ve probably never driven a Cummins, PowerStroke, or Duramax. You don’t buy a diesel for safety or to go faster...you buy it for the heavy duty reliability which is what you get from operating at 2200 RPM vs. 5600. You won’t

I’m not going to try and get in The Rock’s head, so I’m not defending what he’s getting at here per se, but I — as someone that clearly identifies as a liberal and supports the progressive movement, who can’t stand the right as it exists today — believe he makes a very good point, in general about a segment, not all,

That’s why people like Shaun King are a disservice. He does this narrative-first thing too often.

Confessions + having the murder weapon at his apartment?

No.... No, it won’t cause a shitstorm. The race-baiting will move on to another case that’s fueled by narrative first, and facts later. The Barnes case will be left behind and ultimately forgotten in a few weeks, if not days.

Just want Ivy to step on me

I don’t care if I what it is, if it’s not yours, don’t touch it without asking (and receiving permission). It doesn’t matter if it’s an un-damagable brick of adamantium.  Not yours, don’t touch.

“If it’s not yours, don’t touch it” Every parent has said that to their dipshit 4 yr old (every 4 yr old is a dipshit - no your Timmy isn’t special, he’s a dipshit too). If it’s not yours don’t touch it, whether you’re 4yrs old and and trying to watch Roblox on Daddy’s computer - don’t touch the computer, or 44 yrs

I haven’t seen this mentioned, but I always feel like it’s a nice touch when inspecting rare/valuable/collectible machinery to do so with your hands behind your back. It helps keep that grabby smeary impulse at bay, and makes it clear to the owner, if they are present, that your intentions are to look only.

I’d go a step further. Unless invited to do so, don’t touch other people’s stuff. How the F were these people raised, that they think it’s fine?

Don’t forget any children she may have in the future. Those children will not be able to get jobs 30 or 40 years in the future because of this article.

So how far should it go? Should Daly’s kids not be able to get jobs? Should his grandkids get smacked at any opportunity? I don’t think you’d agree with being punished because your parents said something stupid before you were born.

Can we agree now that the fallout from this has gotten ridiculous?
