I agree. Maybe I mis-read that but it sounded like they equated being more wealthy with getting better grades so they qualified for more tuition assistance.

The real question though, will frost chase me down a hallway?

Alaska. I’ve been through most of the states and a number of different countries while in the military, nothing came close. Though sunrises through a thunderstorm on the plains states are pretty sweet.
I’d recommend doing more research besides what I’ve seen linked here, such as taking a drive and looking/talking to your local beef producers. I know many forms of production vary by region but after ~30 years of working with beef production in the mid-west I can tell you most of what has been posted here (comments)…
There is significant flucuation mostly related to supply (weather, time of year, probably regional also). I’d guess they want a consistent supply vs the cost of just buying it. Also keep in mind a large part of buying feed is shipping cost; there is a huge market for “hay jockeys” that move feed to meet regional…
“ so they can apply higher concentrations of it on the fields.” Its actually so they can apply it at all. Non Roundup-Ready crops can’t take a single application, it kills them just like weeds. Depends on the crop and the market price but farmers tend to use them, even though the seed is ridiculously expensive, so…
One of the few blurbs I remember from Engineering Economics was that sunk cost doesn’t justify future expenditure. As others have pointed out, at what point do you say enough is enough? 2 trillion, 3 trillion?
Would finger print coding my car keys keep me from crashing it, driving drunk, running over someone intentionally, ect...
I can second that. My Dad runs a small family farm (~300 acers) and the economics of it are very tight. It all comes down to costs per acre; can you get your operating cost per acre down to a profitable level based on the commodity price. Lots of small things figure into that at but old farming practices are one and…
If it wasn’t in the graphic novel (it was wasn’t it?) I’d call this some of the more ignorant shipping I’ve seen. The only good thing is that TWD seems to treat all relasionships the same, minor footnotes to the story.
So you want a new law to force people to do something specific with thier property, or face fines/jail time. No way that precedent could be misused.
Texas has them beat. The last year I was station in San Antonio we had a little storm come in, just slick spots on bridges and overpasses. They shut down the three biggest highways (1604, 410, and I-35), had over 800 wrecks by 9 that morning. Honestly, I’ve diven in multiple different countries and I don’t know how…
Not necessarily. Its pretty common for under water debris to be separated by large distances, due to currents and such.
Wedding day ~15 years ago. Couple buds had come up on leave with me. Had a couple hours before the ceremony so we went tearing around some dirt roads in my old 86 Chevy. Took a corner to fast, had it up on two wheels twice (right then left side), weak sidewalls on cheap tires just saved us from a roll. Bent the…
Parks highway, Alaska, somewhere between Denali and Fairbanks. Kinda creepy, driving for hours then look up on the side of the road and see a couple couches, dozens of stuffed animals, all looking back at you.
Another OKC dweller here. Seriously, everyone thinks this guy is a peice of shit. I’ve not seen any support for him, anywhere.
