Of course not. It’s a car.

Honestly I wish I could do this to people smoking at the bus stop.
What?? The F35 is not more maneuverable. It loses in that category to a damn F16...its nothing compared to an F22.
Massively increased range? The F35 has a 60 nm increased range over the F22 - an improvement sure, but it ain’t exactly going to break its dependence on tankers to keep airborne.
The computing advances and…
Marriage is declining because women don’t NEED men anymore. We don’t have to put up with the average/bad ones who treat everyone like shit (and vice-versa with men no longer needing women). We only need to get married when we find one we WANT who also WANTS us. And in my opinion, unless you’re rocking my world in bed,…
Once you reach a certain age, pitching a tent gets harder and harder.
I’m guessing another train had just passed through on the other track, and there was just enough gap between them to deactivate the gates before the freight train rolled through. That’s why you should wait for the gates to go all the way up before passing through. Then again, as the camera car showed, you can just…
She literally made the WORST decision possible given the situation, lol. I know some people aren’t good in emergency situations, but c’mon, lady!
Maybe if Ms. Quick had bothered to get a license before driving a car on public roads, she wouldn’t have endangered herself and others by driving like a clueless idiot with no concept of how to approach a rail crossing. Oh thank goodness she wasn’t harmed indeed.
Source please.
No it does not. You are correct about the 2 stroke application but in a modern 4 stroke when the wheels are turning and the throttle body is closed/injectors are not firing... The wheels are turning the engine instead of the engine (eventually) turning the wheels. I’m pretty sure I’ve had to correct you on technical…
How is this a question? Did you not watch the video? Apparently not.
The guy with the 2 stroke Saab thinks you’re stupid.
I have never, ever heard that engine braking (or coasting in gear) is bad for any car. Who are you talking to that thinks that it is? Are you sure it’s engine braking that’s the question, or is it downshifting? On a manual, I rarely downshift because over time it’s extra wear on the clutch, transmission and the shift…
that actually depends on whether or not the manufacturer has engineered in a fuel cut upon engine braking. Without a total fuel cut, engine braking will use as much fuel as it would while idling, but in that case you could travel a little farther in neutral without the deceleration of engine braking.
Show me someone who thinks engine braking is bad and I’ll show you a stupid person. I’ve never heard anyone express that opinion honestly, not sure where Engineering Explained came up with that.
Actually, I quite like that she has no problem sourcing her own mother as the person who taught her how to speak to these cretins. Her mother should be a proud parent!
Bermuda, Bahamas, come on, pretty mama.
It’s pretty impressive that they join gizmodo and end up immediately trying to get sued for defamation. (Recklessness probably isn’t actually met here though, but this is partially why gawker media group is now called gizmodo).
It’s kind of funny. I think that when you learn manual first, the concept of going through the gears sequentially never really enters your mind. Right from the start, you have this stick, and it allows you to select any gear you want. The catch is that you’re responsible for selecting an appropriate gear for your…
