My Lenovo (Miix something) Asus and noname all had the unresponsive touch screen when we migrated to Win10. Stopped after a month or so. All the under powered models will freeze up once in blue moon (MS updates). The I5s will take a noticeable hit and my number cruncher is always unaffected.

I am just saying that I am getting the exact same issues with all the crap in our household.

My experiences are also just anecdotal, but I get the same in our household: Lenovo, Asus, Acer and a noname device (sub 100$ WIN 10 tablet).

Overnight battery drain is most likely not Surface related. My WIN 10 devices all do that once in while.
