‘Sherbert’ is one of the things that makes me cringe when I hear it, like ‘expresso’ instead of espresso and ‘que-pon’ instead of coupon.

I had no idea people called in sherbert until I read this article. Maybe it depends on where you grew up? Everyone I know said it correctly in my hometown in the midwest.

People say “sherbert” because they are idiots.

You do understand Uber doesn’t “Pay” it’s drivers right? Is that beyond you? They have a “rate of travel” that is paid by the rider, and then uber and the driver take their cut.

That’s the arrangement. How can you be paid a ‘living’ wage on that? You can do one ride or a hundred its up to your discretion.

This isn’t the place for big ideas. This is the place for fooling one’s self with many little ideas that physically take a lot of time.

The trick to saving more money... is to spend less and earn more.
