Where the hell does your kid put their feet? With the passenger seat pushed all the way forward, there wasn’t enough room for the car seat to be positioned in such a way that she didn’t have to significantly scrunch her legs up.

I think these people are getting a car seat that can face forward or backwards and is rated at 45 lbs. My daughter had to scrunch up her legs at 11 months (she’s really tall), and you can’t tell me that position is safe in an accident, or comfortable for her at any other time.

Coke is a really bad idea. I know a lot of people think it works, and it does, but only in the short term. Coke is so acidic that it can ruin the finish of things you clean with it. Once it starts to pit the porcelain, the situation will just get worse over time.

We’ve found two things work pretty well. We bought a home about a year ago, and the people that lived here before never even attempted to really clean the toilets. So there used to be nasty hard-water stains throughout the bowls...

I’ve found this actually works with pretty much any kind of fruit vinegar I’ve tried it with. My personal favorite is a cherry almond vinegar, from a shop called Oil and Vinegar.

Salt does not make anything colder than it already is. It lowers the freezing point of water which makes it liquid at a cooler temperature. Since the water can convect heat better when it’s a liquid, and can get better surface coverage, it cools the drinks more effectively.
