Yeah, so funny story... My wife's best friend had her first kid a few months ago. Recently, we went to visit, and since my wife and I are expecting, the kid was kind of tossed on me.

I've found that many casseroles are better out of the slow cooker. Chilis, spaghetti, soups, sauces or anything else that needs to be on the stove and simmer for a long time.

So, are you just the lifehacker "food guy" now? Because I'd be totally okay with that. I've really liked your food stuff lately!

In other news, slow cookers are still an amazing and relatively cheap investment. For how much time and energy they save, and the added health of better food, slow cookers are truly amazing products.

There's a porn virus going around our network (seems to finally be eradicated). For a while I worked in the tech support area and people would bring in their computers filled to the brim with porn. Every personal photo, document and pretty much any other personal file replaced. We'd see TB drives filled.

Yeah, I was going to setup teamviewer so I could remotely install things for them and I was okay with doing that. Anything to get out of hours of removing viruses...

For my inlaws I threatened to remove their administrative account. The kids and father in-law aren't bad. While they usually can't fix things, they know enough not to break it and do what they need to.

Wouldn't you then have to worry about sand fleas?

I was originally going to recommend this. They also have a model that has an enamel coating and I absolutely love it. Plus if you don't own a deep fryer, these make doing it on the stove so much easier!!
