This isn't the exact model I have, but it's pretty much the same thing.
Of those that haven't been mentioned yet WIN+X. Shows a dialog with all the major display/battery/wireless options you usually need.
Awesome find. You've totally made my day.
It's still illegal. They're not allowed to bar you from discussing your salary. No way no how.
My guess is that's a time when she doesn't have any recurring commitments like weekly meetings or whatever. By "free", I think she means that she could meet then, not that she isn't doing anything at those times.
Graduating without loans... That's pretty fucking awesome. I wish living with my parents is an option, but sadly that would be a hell of a commute.
I couldn't imagine working more than 20 hours a week. I currently work 20 a week as a programmer, on top of 15 credits (quarterly school). That's a pretty huge workload.

It would be very easy to setup the raspberry pi, and then remove it's hostname. Write a script that on the next launch only prompts for a hostname. Then backup the card and go about your day.
Might be a cool lifehacker writeup!
I second, third and 50th this. People really don't know how to use their tools. It amazes me how much time someone can spend reformatting a report. If they had used styles the first go a round it'd take a couple minutes. Or how people use some of the most complicated/expensive IDE's out there and don't have the…
