It’s all in what you are used to. I had a BMW with iDrive for several years, and love the knob. I found that even with AA on the Miata it was fine. But I also only use AA to navigate, so how much twiddling needs to be done? I HATE fingerprints on the screen too. So I never touch it on my Fiata.
