I was guessing at 1500 but yeah. Still, better than my daily at my elevation. I’m figure I’m at 37 lb/hp at my driveway empty VS 33 lb/hp for your sambar at sea level. (it would probably be a close match at similar elevations due to FI). I can tell you that no one would find my vehicles stock 11+ second run to 60

Most American drivers lack the skill to drive the speed limit.

It’s an engineering triumph the same way that a machine that can instantly cover a corn dog in 24K rose gold would be: technically impressive, but a fundamentally stupid and useless way to shout how rich you are.”

Every day Jason finds a new and impressive way to make me incredibly proud to work with him. I adore this

Just curious, why do you hate minivans? I grew up riding in a Dodge caravan with only one sliding door and loved it. I gots me two kids myself and I shuttle them around in my Mazda5. Love the minivan, sliding doors are the best.

BRING IT, BITCH

The Cayenne isn’t called a 911 SUV.

Ford Insider here, and since you have this, i might as well spill the beans. The CAD images in the lead image. Thats it. Thats the whole thing. The reason it can get 300 Miles on one charge is because there is no interior (lightweighting) and no wheels (hover car). Congrats Jalopnik, you win!

Your fucking autoplay ads are the fucking worst.

Fuck you.

Me!!! It was on my list of cars to watch out for. *Crosses off list and ponders the meaning of life*

Stop the autoplay ad.

Get rid of these damned autoplay videos with sound!

Can we address the bigger issue here? Can we stop with the recommended/recent videos auto playing on every single page?

Does the Outback count as a wagon? I’ve always thought of it as an SUV (the current generation at least).

The last of the US Spec Fiestas are both ugly and low quality. Why does it have a full number pad? Who Knows! Why’d they make it impossible to replace when it barely qualifies as infotainment? Fuck You, that’s why! No soft touch anything, just super soft plastic that’s easy to put deep scratches into.

I believe the current term is bandSUV.

The Kizashi was really nice for when it came out. I would consider buying one today if I had a 16 yo that needed a car or as a random “other” car. I still get a little excited when I see one on the road.

Every once and a while I thing back on some of the cool funky cars they made... Half the time I realize it was a Suzuki and I have a bad memory

Many if not all of the advantages of crossovers are also disadvantages. They’re marketed as advantages and we’re upset that people fell for it. From your list:
