Very well stated. You win the award of reason today! I hope Jason reads this for a moment of self-reflection.

It's cool and all, but I agree. Maybe it's not so much that people will get used to flat touch panels as much as the performance and adaptability of flat touch will evolve. I've been waiting for a flat touch screen that cares not where you place your fingers... It should just "know" what you're trying to type. In

You might be on to something with this thought... Many of the original Xbox consumers were an older demographic average than it's counterparts. If that demographic continues to age, more of their base might wain on game time. If more consumers migrate their time to the non-game content, Live may become less

It's not, unless you buy it monthly. If you buy it annually, it's $4.17/mo. Or, if you're a shrewd consumer, you buy it when there's a discount price and pay even less... In the sub-$3/mo. range. Personally, I buy the family plan each year and get a discount by way of Microsoft points and the already discounted

What is the appeal of this game? I don't get it.

My wife took all of four of our boys to the courthouse one day to pay a parking ticket... None of them thought about the knives in their pockets before getting to security. The officer was a little miffed when each of them put their knives, one after another, in the tray. My wife said you could have heard a pin

I was speaking in general about content that I'm sensitive to in games, as a parent.

Thank you! Please see my response to cmcanuck too.

Nope. Wasn't joking. Sorry for the delayed response. I've never posted with caps before either. I feel passionately about this subject. I like to enjoy good games with my boys, but I'm careful to avoid pervasive profanity. I love the Gears franchise, and appreciate what they've tried to do with the profanity

CONSUMER TO DEVS: LISTEN. PERVASIVE, HARDCORE PROFANITY KEPT ME FROM THIS PURCHASE. MANY CONSUMERS CRINGE AT HARDCORE PROFANITY AND SEXUAL CONTENT... IF YOU INCLUDE THEM YOU RISK LOSING MANY SALES. WHY NOT GIVE CONSUMERS THE ABILITY TO OPT OUT (LIKE GEARS) BUT STILL PLAY? YOU'LL ELIMINATE THE RISK OF ALIENATION

Did this game not do well? Or, did all the money go to Rockstar? I still want to play this... Was it any good?

The Windy-Snowy City?

I think it might be the carrier sites that were creating the grief. Once at&t started giving the P1234 error, Apple couldn't seem to interact with them either. Apple did the right thing here.

I know! In May I had to jump in a pool to rescue my little boy... I had my iPhone 4 in my pocket. It still makes calls, but can't access wifi, and can't take pictures. It's basically destined for the island of misfit gadgets at this point. I'm growing impatient! Please Apple! Take my money already! :)

I think they just want to consistently shift first adopters to their platform. Nothing is being kept from gamers... It's just a matter of timing. This is smart marketing. Serious gamers will likely have more than one platform, and general consumers will pick the game/console that delivers the best content

Using an SSD consumes more power? This machine should absolutely be equipped with SSD IMO, esp at that price. The price point is high because it took a lot of dev resources on the hardware design... I'm sure it was challenging at times. I applaud them for innovating. I'm sure they're aware that their volumes

That's an interesting assertion, but what if it's more a matter that gays make product choices that will make them 1) stand out, and 2) find approval by following the latest trends?

It's good to consider the circumstances and keep a cool head in traffic. Still, truckers are not exempt from showing proper etiquette on the road and being safe. I have no problem with a truck that I catch up with in the left lane and have to wait a bit for. It's the truck that leaps out in front of me last minute

Caterpillar is a brand, not a generic descriptor for tracks.

Yep, that's because republicans are at work during the day.
