Did anyone else notice the Zentipede poster in the DJ booth?

Linda and Teddy: dumb on their own, mega-dumb when they get together. The funny thing is that I was sitting there thinking, “Oh my God, only Linda would be stupid enough to leave sugar out of a sweet potato pie,” blaming her for being dumb, not the writers. That’s good writing, guys!
There was a big influx of new skaters in roller derby after “Whip It” -- including me. :-) I skated for 9 years.
I’ve been looking at houses on the south side, and if I buy one it will be because it is a nice house that I can afford. But the last thing I want is to be a colonizer. I totally understand the mistrust of white people -- we've more than earned it. Can a (childless, non cop-calling) white person move in without…
Yes! If the restrooms are single-seaters, I use whichever one is open. I mean, if someone’s in the ladies’ and the men’s is free, why the hell not? I agree that in places with this kind of restroom, they should just be gender neutral like at Trader Joe’s.
What do you mean, “Matheson update”? I assume you’re talking about “Hell House” ... was it actually related to “The Haunting of Hill House,” or are you just commenting on their similarities?
The guy who wrote the question did say that he always tips. Maybe he was honestly just curious? I know it’s a touchy subject, but ... it does seem like y’all are attributing to malice what can be adequately explained by ignorance.
Why’s she wearing that black robe? Does she think she’s graduating?
I *still* use Hopey as an example of what I want my hair to look like. :-)
Yeah, it’s pretty weird that Mackenzie Phillips and Dale Soules (Frieda) are playing characters who must be approximately the same age. Soules is 72, for the record. IMDB doesn’t have a birth year for Henny Russell (Carol).
I agree. I found that flashback unsatisfying for that very reason. Not that I wanted it to be longer; I just wanted it to say more.
I love Bob’s Burgers, but this episode -- Linda’s vocalizations when she’s pretending to be psychic just annoy the crap out of me. (In general, I don’t have a ton of patience for Linda). Am I a jerk? :-)
All of Kevin Henkes’ books are worth reading. Great art, and they have messages that don’t feel preachy at all. (I’m particularly fond of “Chrysanthemum,” about a little girl learning to lover her unusual name.)

Yeah, it’s just stupid legal crap. We all know it’s really GBBO. :-)
This may be a stupid question, but why did Elizabeth want to make the dying lady throw up? Why not just smother her?
I was 100% positive that Jackson was dead the moment he got into her car. I was happy to be wrong.
For the last couple of episodes, as it becomes obvious that Stan knows about Philip and Elizabeth, I’ve been repeating, “Please, let Renee just be a normal nosy wife. Please. Please. Please.”Because really — Stan is a good guy, and he doesn’t need his heart broken twice.
Anyone who pets a dog without asking permission is rude and dumb. I mean, how hard is it to say “Hi, can I pet your dog?”
Oh man, I hope not. That would be beyond shitty. I just hope Netflix or Hulu picks it up. Netflix — come on, guys! You have one great sitcom (One Day at a Time). Why not two?
