Just saw this movie over the weekend. I was floored. She seems to down play this honor but I think she earned every brick used to make it.

OMG I LIKED THE SHOW BECAUSE EVEN WITHOUT THE 80S-NESS ITS A SOLID SHOW WITH SOME STRONG ACTING THAT TELLS AN ENGAGING STORY WITH RELATABLE CHARACTERS, AND WORKS LARGELY FOR THE SAME REASONS THAT ITS INFLUENCES WORKED, RATHER THAN RELYING PURELY ON NOSTALGIA
Stranger Things is a very good show on its own terms. It’s not a game of spot-the-reference.
