“You seem very angry about this.”
Man, this looks dumb. Opulent and dumb.
“They make mid-budget movies for adults all the time.”
“Both groups will burn books, scream hate, get involved in mob action, attack people....only difference is the target, type of book and the type of person they attack.”
(Starred mostly for the use of “priggishly”)
“If someone has dark humor, especially non-nuanced dark humor, it should be a sign to look harder at them...”
“One routine which turned out to be hiding the fact he was a serial rapist. That he did other comedy doesn’t change that he in fact joked about something that he was doing and he’s just one example.”
“Like no one would say “these are jokes and jokes have context” if he was dropping N bombs. But when its transgender folks then is all jokes and context.”
“...the left loves email campaigns and boycotts, the right just learned from them.”
I very much disagree with your stance(s) in this thread — and we’ve butted heads in the past — but I’d like to go on record to say I don’t think you’re an alt-right fuckwad or a basement-dwelling snowflake. Nor should you fuck off.
Your GIF game is on point.

Point of Order: Cabin in the Woods was really Drew Goddard’s baby. Joss was the godfather who helped Drew raise the kid. “Lol, Whedon is no Hitchcock or Kafka. But nice try.”
“...once you really start examining Firefly as a metaphor for the Civil War with all that inconvenient slavery stuff scrubbed away so the south can be the good guys...”
Next year better have his name, or we burn this park down.
Listen, pal. This is a case of supply and demand. The dragons could have been off doing any number of productions but were wooed to GoT by fierce contract negotiation. Stop making them out to be divas or ogres or diva ogres on set. They’re not. They’re perfectly pleasant off screen. This is just a matter of business.
Yeah. I wish we’d gotten Kevin Tancharoen’s Mortal Kombat movie. His YouTube series made adjustments and rewrote the story but the fabric of the characters remained the same.
