Point of Order: Cabin in the Woods was really Drew Goddard’s baby. Joss was the godfather who helped Drew raise the kid. I mean, they co-wrote the script but, for my money, the end result felt a lot more of a Drew joint than a Joss joint — which I say in retrospect, given that it was Goddard’s first feature he directed…

Listen, pal. This is a case of supply and demand. The dragons could have been off doing any number of productions but were wooed to GoT by fierce contract negotiation. Yeah. I wish we’d gotten Kevin Tancharoen’s Mortal Kombat movie. His YouTube series made adjustments and rewrote the story but the fabric of the characters remained the same.
