You’re saying more than it was merely possible. You specifically said it was probable (which, by the by, plausible covers in this context, too). Probable, plausible, more possible, more likely.

He beat people up in the most violent professional sport of the 20th Century. And he came out a humanitarian. Many things make him the greatest athlete but this, to me, is the best testament to his greatness as a person.
