There are enough people in the general public who enable TMZ and the papz. This is true. But I don’t think it’s semantics to point out that there is also a significant portion of the general public who do not accept the papz.
“...but we just accept it because its their job.”
“But male gaze implies a whole host of other things.”
“...but camera lenses feel “male gazey” and “rapey”? To a woman who has done “scandalous” photoshoots for many magazines and being on camera is literally her livelihood?”
“I’m not blaming anyone, I’m honestly just responding to comments for the sake of debate lol. I like debating about random shit on the internet idk why, it’s really a bad habit of mine.”
Meh. I’m happily caffeinated and comfortable viewing your position here as wrong. So, I stand by what I said, too. Let’s leave it at that.
Oh, poppycock. Back-pedalling semantics and equivocating poppycock.
“But does it though?”
“Unrealistic does not mean impossible.”
“It implicitly discriminates on the basis of race by reifying a racial system of classification.”
“I guess it isn’t a total fail but don’t encourage this type of lame behavior...”
“Yeah that had nothing to with race, more to do with ignorance.”
Er...
Quick on the insults, huh? Well, then you have a nice weekend. If I want to get yelled at by random angry people, I’d rather do it with a drink in my hand.
“Alrighty then. Let’s go get some face tats. I hear Banks are hiring.”
Learning from your mistakes is a feature not a drawback of youth. Of course, I speak of tattoos not, y’know, joyriding stolen cars.
“It implies the teen is less likely to follow rules and make choices that are good in the long-term. Is it always true? No. In this case it proved to be.”
“Yes by all means, growing up in poor conditions allows you to break the law and get away with it because of your “conditions”.”
“The job description of a police officer requires them to risk their lives to save the lives of other people.”
