You cannot quote a single time I disparaged anything about HEMA’s work or that of similar hobbyists. Enjoy the delusion, though. You? You I disparaged and mocked and waggle my finger at. I regret nothing. I started lightly and I end less so.

“Congratulations on continuing to show how much contempt you have for other people’s work.”

Congratulations on scaling Mt. Molehill! Here’s your trophy. We’ve taken the liberty of inscribing it for you:

Ha! The passive-aggressive flavour of assholery. How tasty! Carry on, good sir/madame.

OTOH, none of that is really stated in the movies so most people just look at what they see and assume the Force gives you better reflexes and enhances physical abilities.

This is but one of many issues when it comes to the psychology of being an officer and the infrastructure in which they serve. ‘They’re just bad people to start with,’ is a reductive and vituperative argument which won’t help matters.

“because make no mistake: if you are assigned to a high school, it is because you are in the shit with your boss”

“Kazmodaa started the threat with a comment dismissive of the documentary based on tired tropes.”

You came into the thread strong and snide. Kazmodaa fired back. I’m perfectly okay with any acerbic retort to an unbidden and sardonic interjection. I’ve argued nothing in this thread beyond saying I think you sound like an asshole (and it’s starting to seem like a pattern) even if you might be right about all the

It’s almost like you think I took a side in the technical debate despite, y’know, the whole lack of words which said as much. Also, you foisted some imaginary motives on me. You who does that?

OTOH, some movies try more than others.

You could be right about everything you said. Like, they could name a school after you and teach a syllabus formed from your waking thoughts because you’re so right. The knowledge gleaned there could lead to cures for cancer, ALS, Alzheimer’s, and the Kardashians.

OTOH: Rob Roy’s final duel. Love. It.

I think you may have replied to the wrong person. :)

Once again, military/aeronautics/astronautics people, love the great footage but at least lay in some music befitting your gorgeous imagery.

“But I do think it’s bizarre that people are offended that I think it is disrespectful to play a football game when bodies are lying in the street two blocks away.”

Caveat: This is not an attack. I have no horse in this race. You don’t seem like a bad person. I’m genuinely trying to be helpful.

It would be terrible. If it were true. Which it is not.

This is factually untrue. There is one main thread about the ball game, and a few other posts elsewhere. The other active thread is talking about drunk driving. It’s a hodgepodge other than that.

It is not a competition for concern nor an either/or option. An event was scheduled, a tragic accident occurred. If events were cancelled for every local or related tragic death, we’d be cancelling a lot of events.
