The language actually checks out just fine, though it could have been more clear.
Those seem like suitably plausible reasons.
It is possible there was any other issue which may have lent itself to the decision to proceed here? I think a lot of people are are, ehem, flying under the presumption that the sole deciding criteria was the pilot saying, “Meh, I got this.”
That pilot rocks. Even as the plane almost rolled.
You are a strange cookie. And that’s alright with me.
That’s even more impressive than my memorization of the V for Vendetta introduction speech. Memorizing made-up words is quite a thing.
Nice!
I guess you could say I am a perma-fan. Or, as I prefer to call it: a sentient being unburdened by madness. Because, really, who doesn’t love Carol Burnett?
How refreshing! Someone able to fairly regard criticism on the internet. You are a unicorn and my favourite person today (who is not Carol Burnett). Sorry, Carol is a tough daily favourite to beat.
“I don’t have a problem with Jewish people but I have a problem with Israel and what I’m saying is people are accepting there is a big difference between the two things.”
It is? Wow, that’s news.
Woo-hoo! High-five fellow ‘73er.
Wow, I’m not backing a ‘side’ in this entirely-not-a-fight fight everyone is talking about but EW just got themselves told.
Technically, sure. But, c’mon, it’s not exactly surprising that any artist in Swift’s shoes might have jumped to that conclusion, however wrong it may have been. It’s their video, their song, and their nomination. If it was Neil Young or Dolly Parton or Ozzy Osbourne or the recently late and always great BB King,…
Don’t you worry about Tina and Amy (or is it Amy and Tina, now? Who’s on first?). The whole thing from their POV can be summed up in this moment and Poehler’s laugh.
You have got to be kidding.
Just to contrast, here’s our lame-o Toronto Police Services recruitment video.
Yep. You talk like a de-escalation trainer. I’m not being snide. You really do. Everything you wrote seems pretty spot on to me. I think we’ve all seen enough YouTube videos to tell the difference between cops who know how to diffuse situations and cops who, by their own actions, worsen the situation.
Violence is not an acceptable outcome of anger.
