Look buddy, you may be the smartest guy in your neighborhood, but the world is full of idiots, no offense to any idiots really, and what is logical to you is not to them. I mean, someone tells you that for a little extra money, you’ll be safer, or you’ll get more out of something, that’s easy fishing in a lot of

Haha, yeah I generally agree with the tire PR guys that rubber is one of if not the most important part of your car.

Siping offers no noticeable gains? Tell that to Les Schwab’s accountant.

This is a world in which some portion of the populace believes in a flat earth, that vaccines cause autism, and that every major school shooting is a hoax. Faith in siping in the grand scheme of things is a very minor transgression.

Can we stop saying stuff like this disregards the laws of physics? THE REASON THIS WORKS IS BECAUSE OF AN IN DEPTH UNDERSTANDING OF THE LAWS OF PHYSICS!

Now I want a 2.5L I4 producing 580hp! (maybe in a Miata?)

That last paragraph comes across as a smidge racist.

Payload ratings are not based on the calculation: stated payload + 1kg = snapped chassis. They are based on 1) reasonable braking distance with max payload. 2) Anticipated expectations of end user.

Inversely correlated is what you’re trying to say.

it is because they are ugly
