Just came here to say that Wistful Pumpkin is a killer band name.

Agreed with Billy Madison’s comment. The end of Season 4 was so powerful to me, precisely because of what’s come before. So, SO good.
I have the same reaction to those thinkpieces / pearl-clutcher columns. Millennials aren’t having kids because childcare / career fallout / student loan debt / housing affordability, not because they’re a spiteful generation who hate children (or whatever bullshit argument someone tries to use).
The producers of “The Fix,” Sarah Fain and Liz Craft, have a great podcast called “Happier in Hollywood.” It’s been fun to listen to their behind-the-scenes take on making the show with Marcia. I’m in!
Super on-board for this. Also, if anyone else wants to join in, the “When Meghan Met Harry” podcast released their royal wedding bingo boards for Saturday morning. Pimms cups all around!
Yes! Even as someone who has occasionally been a Goop apologist (not the actual site / content / products, because UGH, but the person — “My Father’s Daughter” is a great cookbook! “Emma” is a good movie! etc.), I agree. While I have “eh” feelings about Draper James, it’s 100% less offensive than jade eggs for $500.…
I see it, and I respect it.
“walk the line,” heh heh heh.
This is one reason my husband has used pretty effectively in discussions w/his family about confederate monuments. Not his parents (thank the Lord my in-laws are pretty solid people) but extended family. Even if you remove every other possible abhorrent reason why these monuments exist from the conversation, you’re…
Speaking as an academic language therapist, there are some real of physical and neurological benefits to holding your pencil accurately. The pencil should rest on your middle finger and be held between your index finger and thumb, not allowing your thumb to slide in front of the index finger (which is pretty common).…
Side note, her outfit in that video is [insert fire emojis] — I couldn’t pull off that color (I’d look jaundiced like whoa), but it looks amazeballs on her and I love the collar and belt. Go Tiffany! Do all the things!
I had the same reaction. I just love her, and I love them. Not that my love matters in the sense that no one should be sent anthrax-laced mail, but still. BAH.
Yes! Lori Beth is iconic!
I know! That part is just as horrifying!
I just heard her tell this story on Matt Bellassai’s podcast, “Unhappy Hour,” and I felt deeply compelled to wash my own hands multiple times afterward due to reciprocal horror at the whole thing. AAAUUUUGGGGHHHHH.
Sure, Jan.
I hope the set designer does their research and includes her many, MANY pieces of (alleged) furniture with genitals carved into them ... 10/10 will watch. https://www.buzzfeed.com/mandycaruso/the-x-rated-furniture-of-catherine-the-great-is-something?utm_term=.cnjpvKveG#.wtabWGWVq
ha! I’m sorry I didn’t acknowledge you; clearly my coffee hadn’t kicked in yet. Cheers to Rosie!
Fun fact: the model, Mary Keefe (mentioned in another comment in this thread) was a longtime friend of my grandmother’s. She was a really special woman (both Mrs. Keefe, may she rest in peace, and my Grandma, who is 92 and killing it still. Unsurprisingly for someone who was buds with Rockwell’s Rosie).
