...so why are you here then?
Wow, how did I know this was even a thing while being a massive 500 and 126 fan??? I knew about the Steyr-Puch powered cars, but never knew about this!
Why though? They have a legal license to produce it, they shouldn’t need to pay licensing. They’ve been producing it for longer than FCA has.
I am thoroughly on Mahindra’s side as they have LEGALLY had the license to produce it since just after WWII....how is this case simply just not that cut and dry?
Mahindra has a legal license to produce that design of vehicle for the last 70 years. Case closed...?
Stupid question, and I forget if you’d covered this elsewhere, but I see you have ‘closet’ on the schematic....what are your plans for the washroom situation?
The “giant-ass tablet glued to the middle of the dash” look really needs to die...
I hope the Ford software devs that developed the control software for it aren’t the same ones that made Sync...
I’ve been quoted $5000 CAD including shipping (less import fees) to Nova Scotia by a reputable shop in Poland (Classic Parts Staniszewski) to find a later EL/ELX, ship it to the port in Gdansk, deal with all the export paperwork/etc, and ship it to Halifax...? Ro-Ro, though, not container. I just have to pay the…
Probably out of my price range...I find it’s actually cheaper to get one directly from Poland with the exchange rate!
I’m hoping to import a Maluch at some point! :D

Good luck guys!
...any updates on the Yugo...or the Pao...? You need to do an update post on your cars Jason! :D
Love this series so far! If you’re ever up here in Nova Scotia, I owe you a coffee! :)
Also, if you ARE ever up here in Nova Scotia, I suggest the Cabot Trail as a possible trip - gorgeous scenery!
Agreed! The Ritmo may have rusted away if you took your eyes off of it for a second, but I love the styling of it, especially the first-gen! Very cool little cars!
Yup, it seems VW had a ‘thing’ for journalists over a few weeks. The earliest I saw them was Sept. 29th, but Jason and David were doing this a few days ago, so that that’s at least two weeks.
I don’t think so, Jason has posts on his Twitter feed from the last day implying they are here now...? The Hovercraft tweet he made shows they are somewhere on Nova Scotia’s west coast near the Annapolis Valley as that same hovercraft is for sale on Kijiji over there!
Opposite side of the province to me unless they…
Amen...my eyes and neck haven’t been recalled luckily!
