Awesome story! Amazing luck on your part, haha!

I still love my 2009 run-of-the-mill-Korean-ecobox Hyundai Accent, basic, bland and boring though it may be considered by everybody!

Excellent article Jason! So.....you were thinking about the FIAT 126 I want to import in the next year or two and then writing an article to essentially seal my fate of getting one...right?

I’ve never even seen one in person, but I have a friend with one in Poland and I am smitten with them! :)

Hoping to import one to Canada for myself in the next year or two! :D

FIAT 126, specifically a later model 126p (EL or ELX)!

@Jason’s comments re: the Viewt being sold in Canada:

Why do you want a car so tall that you have to rappel yourself into the cab like Batman every time you have to pick up some groceries? you will have such a high center of gravity in an emergency avoidance situation that you are GUARANTEED to roll at the slightest attempt at turning?

None! But I have saved up enough to import the FIAT 126p I want from Poland to here in Nova Scotia sometime in the next two years once my living and job situations work out! :D

I THOUGHT that was David’s Minica! Pity I don’t get the channel to watch the episode :(

Love the Mitsu 360!!! That wouldn’t be Nakazato’s Minica, would it?

I do love underdog cars, especially ‘People’s Cars’ like the classic FIAT 500, and 2CV! And commie rides as well, like the Fiat 126p, Trabant, Polski FIAT 125p, etc!

No, I mean China - Canada gets some Chinese-built Fits while the US get some from Mexico.

True....I have friends who traded in their older Honda Fit for one of the newer generation models that was built in China and they’ve had far more problems with it, so I guess I am just speaking from that experience.

...Focus Active imported from China, eh? Eh....not looking forward to the quality on those then...

I love the Giulia....but I would be FAR more open to buying one if they had offered manuals here in Canada. I love driving stick and prefer all my cars to have it it’s lack on the Giulia here is quite saddening! :(

Oh, thanks! Did miss that one! At least, I don’t remember seeing it!

TRABANT MUSEUM YOU SAY??? Quirky people’s cars are my jam! I hope you’ll be doing an article on that David! :)

Easy! :)

UH....the blue truck jackknifed trying to avoid the car, and more importantly, the giant red truck now on it’s side across lanes of traffic out of shot THANKS to the white car???

I think he means the fact several of FCA’s current platforms have been current for....awhile now.
