Re: your comment on FIAT - I have a thing for classic FIATs, so I agree! I would love to see them have a rear-engined 500 as well. They have the TwinAir engine series, they are small and lightweight enough to be mounted in the back of something Twingo style!

Huh. I wonder if anybody has ever invented a mechanical glovebox that contains a small slit where a mechanical lock opening device can be placed to activate a system which locks said glovebox until the same lock opening device is once again inserted to reverse the operation?

Could be...maybe it DOES have CAN...I’m probably wrong, but I don’t recall my OBDII scanner telling me it is connecting via the CAN protocol when I link it up to my car...?

If it does, I know it can’t have many modules....there aren’t enough features to warrant it, haha!

No ABS! No TPMS! It’s got a stick....so airbag, ECU and Body module maybe, but I imagine that’s it!

It’s a stick, so pretty sure there is no transmission module? Otherwise, it’s a stripper module...no power anything, no A/C, etc. The climate controls are all manual,…

Amen! I have a base, stripper model 2009 Hyundai Accent hatchback, which IS a new car, but one with NO features. Anytime I get into something newer, I always feel the same way you do....’what is all this extra stuff....’

Maybe so, but I wouldn’t really call the Cord mass-produced...they only sold something like 4000 of them compared to like 750,000 Traction Avants over the years.

At least all my dream cars are affordable! FIAT 126p imported from Poland to Canada? Something like $6000 CAD IMPORTED, including shipping and import fees! :P
